What is DeSpiral?
DeSpiral is a micro-ritual for emotional release. Anxiety, frustration, and rumination tighten their grip the more you hold them in. DeSpiral gives you a way out — name it, destroy it, move on.
It takes thirty seconds. Sometimes that's all you need.
How it works
Type whatever is weighing on you — a worry, a grudge, a fear, a thought you can't shake. Or tap the photo button and pick an image: a screenshot, a message, a face you'd rather not see. Then hit Crush.
Watch it get pulled apart by a black hole and obliterated into nothing. The act of naming it and witnessing its destruction is the point. Your brain gets a concrete signal: this is done.
When the dust settles, the screen goes quiet for a moment — the release after the blast. Then you're ready for the next one.
What makes it different
Most wellness apps ask you to journal, reflect, or breathe through it. DeSpiral asks you to destroy it.
A rich library of destructions drives every crush — chain-reaction novas, tidal spaghettification, radial lightning, slow Hawking evaporation, and many more. We're adding to it all the time, so there's always a new way to watch something fall apart.

Your privacy
Nothing you type or crush is stored, synced, or sent anywhere. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics tied to your words or photos — any image you crush is read on your device only and never uploaded, and your original stays right where it is in your library. DeSpiral keeps no copy of what you crush.
Sharing is just as private. When you share a blast, the video hides your words — or the photo you crushed — behind a block by default, so it gives nothing away. Want to show them?
